As an Equipment Mechanic I at PTI Technologies, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of our production equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance and basic repairs on machinery, adhering to established schedules and procedures under supervision. You'll maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using the Faciliworks maintenance program. Additionally, you will assist in the rebuilding, removal, relocation, and installation of production equipment, utilizing hand and power tools effectively.
Working from blueprints and verbal instructions, you will contribute to a safe and organized workplace by maintaining cleanliness and following safety protocols. To excel as a Full Time Equipment Mechanic I at PTI Technologies, you should possess a strong foundation in mechanical aptitude along with a high school diploma or GED. An entry-level to two years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related technical environment is preferred. Basic math skills are essential for performing relevant calculations, while the ability to read and understand work instructions is crucial for success.
Familiarity with hand and power tools, alongside basic computer skills for data entry, is required. You should also be capable of reading basic blueprints and seeking guidance as necessary. Strong communication skills and teamwork are vital, as is a commitment to safety and quality.
