Core Responsibilities:
Education Requirements:
- Ability to accurately read blue prints
- Ability to set up and locate parts per instructions
- Ability to hold required high precision tolerances
- Ability to troubleshoot errors and variable conditions
- Conduct all proper maintenance required for the EDM machines
- Follow shop safety rules at all times
- Ability to schedule jobs to achieve the maximum unmanned machine hours
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate well with a positive attitude
- Ensures conformance to specifications utilizing CMM, height gauges, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices to adjust tools, to produce drawing specified dimensions and ensure overall quality.

- Must be able to work both independently and on a team.

Qualifications

- Inspection experience and able to use precision measuring devices for overall quality.
- Knowledge of proper Health and Safety measures.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of electrical wiring schematics
- Good math skills
- Understand and practice safe working methods
- Basic understanding of tools
- Be willing to work to ISO / QS 9000 standards and have a commitment to continuous improvement
- Capable of performing physical tasks including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
