Primary Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts that meet quality and production standards
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary tool adjustments or replacements
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Support company goals by maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety in all operations
Job Duties
- Run production lots and communicate effectively with team members regarding job status and output
- Perform routine machine shop operations, including setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting
- Identify and report defective materials or nonconforming parts to management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including proper removal of metal shavings and debris
- Follow all company quality standards, policies, and procedures
- Actively participate in safety programs and adhere to all HSE requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience required with the ability to independently perform setups and program edits; 5+ years preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
