Your Role on Our Team:

Looking for agile CNC Programmer to work in a production tool room environment. Duties will be varied but will include fixture development, spare parts machining, stamping die and plastic mold work.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate multiple CNC and manual machining equipment and workstations

  • Write and install CNC programs for machining applications

  • Make offsets and adjustments as required

  • Independently produce samples and first run pieces

  • Determine best approach and layout sequence of operations required for each job

  • Use all shop equipment

  • Set-up and operation of manual and CNC machines

  • Machine material to very close fits and tolerances

  • Complete routine equipment and product inspections and complete required documentation

  • Investigate and efficiently assist with diagnosis and resolution of equipment and quality problems, production delays or stoppages

  • Participate in performing root cause analysis and assist with implementing the best solution

  • Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs

  • Perform preventative maintenance responsibilities

  • Participate in updates of preventative maintenance schedules

  • Provide feedback to Maintenance and Facilitator as needed

  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area

  • Practice 5Ss

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints

  • Advanced math skills

  • Ability to use standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometer, height stand, gage pins and blocks

  • Cam software experience or certificate

  • Knowledge and use of G and M coding

  • 3D Modeling skills in Solidworks a plus

  • Ability to interpret technical data accurately including engineering drawings and schematics

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Technical certification in a mechanical, electrical automation or related program or equivalent combination of education and experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical field
