Job Description

MSC is looking for a CNC Technician that will be responsible for producing high-quality parts and components by setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines according to technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities


  • Machine Setup: Set up and calibrate CNC machines, including loading and aligning workpieces, selecting tools, and adjusting machine settings.
  • Programming: Read and interpret technical blueprints and CAD/CAM files to program CNC machines for various operations.
  • Operation: Operate CNC machinery to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding with high precision.
  • Quality Control: Inspect finished products using measuring tools and gauges to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues with machine performance or product quality, including making adjustments or replacing defective parts.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production runs, machine settings, and any issues encountered during operations.
  • Safety: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications


  • Experience

    Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is a plus. Engineering degree (preferred)
