Payrate for this role is between $30-$45+ per hour (based on experience) Responsibilities for Commercial HVAC Technician: # Provide service and maintenance to customers in a defined market with a diverse commercial base # Troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up HVAC systems from 20 to 100 tons units for Trane and other brands # Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests including replacement, and modifications of equipment or systems as needed or requested by customers. # Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units, as well as proposed retrofits, upgrades and or enhancements to existing systems.
Qualifications for HVAC Technician: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years of experience in Commercial HVAC service; Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment up to 100 tons. Must have proficiency with operating and working handheld computers (i.e. This position requires working in diverse conditions including, but not limited to, mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).
