We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established legal team in Florence, SC. This position plays a key role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions, from opening files through closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions while providing exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and assist with commercial real estate transactions from file opening through closing
Prepare, review, and organize closing documents and transaction files
Create and maintain electronic closing notebooks and document management systems
Open new client and matter files while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
Assist with title insurance matters and coordinate with lenders, clients, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions
Prepare settlement statements and closing packages as needed
Process client billing and maintain accurate billing records
Monitor transaction timelines and ensure deadlines are met
Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and the commercial real estate team
Perform additional duties as assigned to support the firm's real estate practice
Qualifications
3β5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience preferred
Experience handling commercial real estate closings and title insurance is required
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
Experience with SoftPro is preferred, but the firm is willing to train the right candidate
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other professionals
Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to accuracy and client service
