Commercial Real Estate Paralegal – Florence, SC

Pay: $60,000–$70,000 annually (based on experience)

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join a well-established legal team in Florence, SC. This position plays a key role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of commercial real estate transactions, from opening files through closing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple transactions while providing exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and assist with commercial real estate transactions from file opening through closing

  • Prepare, review, and organize closing documents and transaction files

  • Create and maintain electronic closing notebooks and document management systems

  • Open new client and matter files while ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate

  • Assist with title insurance matters and coordinate with lenders, clients, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions

  • Prepare settlement statements and closing packages as needed

  • Process client billing and maintain accurate billing records

  • Monitor transaction timelines and ensure deadlines are met

  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and the commercial real estate team

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the firm's real estate practice

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of commercial real estate paralegal experience preferred

  • Experience handling commercial real estate closings and title insurance is required

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Experience with SoftPro is preferred, but the firm is willing to train the right candidate

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, and other professionals

  • Professional demeanor with a strong commitment to accuracy and client service
