TRC Talent is Hiring Equipment Technicians in White, GA

Job Overview:
We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Equipment Technicians to support equipment maintenance operations in a solar panel manufacturing facility. Technicians in this role are crucial to ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and minimizing downtime.

Schedule:
Training: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (up to 3 months)
After Training: 6PM-6:10AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Pay: $24.00/hr Base + $1.00 (Night shift Differential)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on ingot manufacturing machinery and equipment.

  • Diagnose equipment failures, perform timely repairs, and restore operational stability.

  • Identify required parts, manage inventory levels, and request replacements as needed.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, parts usage, and equipment conditions.

  • Follow all safety regulations, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Support troubleshooting efforts during production interruptions to help restore equipment quickly.

  • Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and production personnel to support continuous operation.

  • Participate in shift pass-downs to ensure seamless communication across incoming and outgoing shifts.

  • Assist with improvement activities aimed at increasing equipment reliability and reducing downtime.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support departmental and operational goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education in mechanical or electrical engineering is a plus.

  • Up to 5 years of experience in equipment or facilities maintenance.

  • Ability to read and analyze electrical and mechanical schematics.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in high-volume manufacturing (Solar, Semiconductor, or Automotive).

  • Experience maintaining automated equipment, CNC machinery, or PLC-controlled systems.
