Our client, healthcare and senior living services provider is seeking a Cook to join their team. As a Cook, you will be part of the kitchen support staff supporting senior residents' nutritional needs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a passion for culinary excellence, and strong communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Shift: 7:00 am start, 8 hours per shift
What's the Job?
- Prepare nutritious, flavorful, and well-balanced meals following established menus
- Ensure food safety regulations and client standards are met in every dish
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures
- Assist in preparing therapeutic diets tailored to residents' dietary needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
What's Needed?
- Experience as a cook or in a related culinary role
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to acquire food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
