Our client, a manufacturing organization specializing in industrial solutions, is seeking a dedicated Coolant Technician to join their team. As a Coolant Technician, you will be an essential part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, self-motivation, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Hermansville, Michigan

Pay Range: $18.00/hr. plus $1.00/hr. shift premium

Shift: 2nd or 3rd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Check and maintain coolant concentration in all machines daily to ensure optimal operation.
  • Change filters weekly in Miji lifts and twice weekly in Cuda filters.
  • Monitor the bottom coolant tank to ensure it is always full and prepare new coolant when necessary.
  • Schedule coolant clean-outs with the production supervisor and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
  • Clean and maintain the coolant recycling area and overall shop cleanliness to promote a safe and efficient work environment.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record to operate company vehicles.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.
