Region Two includes Douglas Medical Center, Cobb Hospital, and Paulding Medical Center. As a

for Region Two, you will apply your expertise to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at each location you serve. If you prefer a role that avoids routine, lets you use your full skill set, and provides straightforward pay, this could be a strong fit.

Work Shift Full Time

Pay In return for stepping in where you're needed most, Float Pool members earn a higher base rate and may be eligible for a float incentive.

in advance Monthly schedule includes

2 Monday shifts ,

2 Friday shifts , and

3 weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) This position is eligible for

Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Experience Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital setting Minimum 2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting

Certifications ARRT-R (Radiography) ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography) BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association

Core Responsibilities Perform CT exams per physician orders, department protocols, and safety standards. Verify patient identity, obtain relevant history, and screen for contraindications (including contrast risk). Explain procedures clearly using AIDET and communicate with patients/families with empathy and confidence. Prepare and position patients; assist with mobility, safe transfers, and use immobilization/shielding as needed. Establish IV access using sterile technique and maintain venipuncture competency. Administer contrast media safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions; escalate concerns promptly. Operate CT scanners and power injectors safely; confirm proper anatomical markers and scan parameters. Optimize technique to achieve diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation dose (ALARA). Evaluate image quality, recognize urgent findings/clinical changes, and involve the radiologist/physician when indicated. Complete documentation accurately and on time; manage RIS entries, PACS uploads, and CDs/logs when required. Perform, document, and follow through on QC checks, calibration verification, and compliance/audit standards. Maintain smooth daily operations by prioritizing workload, supporting cross-coverage/clerical needs, keeping rooms stocked and equipment cleaned/disinfected, participating in on-call, and adhering to regulatory/Joint Commission standards.
