Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join their team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be an essential part of the Customer Support Department supporting members and providers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Location

Marquette, MI

Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break

What's the Job?

  • Provide exceptional customer service to members and healthcare providers via inbound and outbound calls
  • Route information to appropriate departments and resolve member issues efficiently
  • Accurately document all correspondence and interactions in the claims management system
  • Assist with questions related to benefits, policies, eligibility, and medication denials
  • Support the organization’s compliance with healthcare policies and confidentiality standards

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • At least two years of customer service or call center experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
