Job Description

The Work We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support multiple programs in the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors business. This position requires knowledge of electrical engineering principles, working in a team environment, and general knowledge of other related disciplines. Specific tasking will be but not limited to overall design of launcher electrical systems, including the selection and use of Commercial Off the Shelf components, custom hardware design, and setting requirements for chassis/enclosure design.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the electrical design sustainment of the MK41 Vertical Launching System and new and exciting designs of the next generation of launcher and weapon systems across various platforms. • Apply electrical engineering and electronics skills and have applicable knowledge of other related disciplines supporting successful design activities. • Coordinate with more senior internal or external personnel on significant technical matters. • Conduct or participate in the design, development, and testing of electronic and electrical components, sub-systems and systems. • Develop technical documentation such as initial design specifications, schematics, assembly drawings and parts list as well as preparing test procedures and reports to ensure customer and company requirements are met.

Position is located in Moorestown, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or other related engineering or scientific field • Minimum 2 years professional experience • Experience supporting multi-disciplinary engineering teams in electronic system development • Working experience in one or more of the following technical areas: - Electrical System Integration/Development - Complex Cable Design - Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design - Circuit Card Assembly Design - Electrical Bonding and Grounding of Enclosures - FPGA Selection/Programming • Ability to obtain & maintain a DoD clearance at the SECRET level
