The role of the Field Application Engineer (FAE) is to use their knowledge and abilities to help the company’s customers succeed with their application design.
Understand the customer applications and use cases
• Proactively sell Nordic solutions to key customers
• Be available to support RSMs, distributors, and representatives
• May be assigned to participate in development projects
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or similar, experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Ability to work with customers to develop solutions that meet their needs.
Experience with technical support and/or customer services is a plus
Experience working with embedded systems: digital & analog circuits
Hands-on experience with C/C++
Bluetooth Low Energy, LTE-M and NB-IoT, and/or Wi-Fi
Hands on experience working with software to interface IoT devices with cloud software/services like AWS & Azure

Strong customer communication skills in English, written and spoken
Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work with minimal supervision.
