Full‑time Mammography Technologist performing high‑quality breast imaging in an ACR designated comprehensive breast center. Provides diagnostic and screening mammography with advanced 3D and stereotactic equipment, ensuring accurate interpretation and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures following established protocols
Capture high‑quality images for accurate radiologist interpretation
Position and educate patients while ensuring compassionate care
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
Inspect and maintain mammography equipment for optimal function
Educate patients and address procedural concerns
Operate Hologic Dimension 3‑D mammography equipment
Use a prone stereotactic table for targeted imaging
Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
Active ARRT certification in Radiography
ARRT Mammography certification
California state licensure or eligibility
CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in mammography or women’s imaging
Experience with Hologic Dimension 3D systems and stereotactic procedures
Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
