Manage unassigned patients or those without a designated obstetrician. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and help develop labor and delivery protocols. Educate residents, medical students, and nursing staff as needed.

Qualifications

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of a 4-year OB/GYN residency program. Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Valid state medical license and DEA registration. Advanced training in high-risk obstetrics or maternal-fetal medicine is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, including emergency response. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure. Commitment to patient safety and evidence-based care. Work Schedule: Typically shift-based (e.g., 12- or 24-hour shifts), including nights, weekends, and holidays. Full-time and part-time positions may be available
