Inpatient OBGYN - benefited position
Hospital employed
10 - 24-hour shifts per month
10 on-site hour requirement
No outpatient
Rounding covers consults, deliveries, admissions
Work in conjunction with independent OB group
Call 1:4 with addition of Laborist
On-call physician responsible for ER admits and transfers
Experienced OB department
Seasoned nurses with 10+ yrs of Obstetric care
Focus on teamwork, excellent culture
V-Backs are provided
C-sections done in the OR
OR team available 24/7
Average of 50 deliveries per month
24/7 Pediatric and Cardiology coverage
Fulltime pediatric cardiologist on-site
Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University
Medical Students and Family Practice Residents
Residents on site in OB 24/7
Level IIIA NICU staffed with 3 Neonatologists and 3 APPs
Mobile transport team
