The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating equipment in the one or more value streams of the Good Hope operations. This position is responsible for the production of valuable, defect-free products that meet or exceed our customers' expectations. The machine operator will be successful in this position by executing to standard work and adhering to all company policies.
- Follow Schedule Boards or Hour by Hour boards
- Print and produce product to match order specification. Hand finish (i.e. laminating, stack cutting, sheeting) as required.
- Perform final pre-run inspection of job, quality checks during the run, and job completion, meeting quality and quantity standards.
- Perform all required preventive maintenance of applicable equipment.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals (i.e. inks, cleaning solvents, etc.) according to procedures.
- Work from standard work, written instructions, and established procedures to complete assigned tasks.
- Address and resolve routine inquiries and problems, referring the more complex issues to the supervisors.
- Interact with different shifts to provide updates on current jobs, issues, or updates.
- All other duties as assigned
