DescriptionThe hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $28.00 / hour. In some circumstances, this may be above or below the range (based on various factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s relevant skills, experience, education and training, location, as well as the job scope and complexity, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel required for the position). The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of activities related to the service, repair, and preventive maintenance of machines, equipment, and facility structures. This role supports safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment is properly maintained and operating at optimal performance. This role is critical to ensuring "uptime" by bridging the gap between mechanical hardware, pneumatic power, and electronic control systems. In this role, you will work 1st Shift, 7AM-3:30PM.Perform all tasks in a safe manner, ensuring the health and safety of self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems.Consistently follow department and company safety policies and procedures.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and support general housekeeping efforts.Actively participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to team decision-making, projects, and special assignments.ures (SOPs) and adhere to safety and environmental guidelines.Review current processes and identify opportunities to improve product quality and process efficiency.Help reduce waste, rework, and non-value-added activities.Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the facility.Diagnose and repair systems where mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic components interface (e.g., PLC-controlled actuators or servo-driven conveyors).Support team decision-making and provide technical mentorship to equipment operators to improve machine longevity.Requirements & DutiesDisciplineOverview of RequirementsMechanicalProficiency in disassembling, repairing, and aligning high-speed rotating equipment, gearboxes, drive trains, and conveyors. PneumaticalExpert knowledge of compressed air systems, including valves, solenoids, cylinders, and FRL (Filter-Regulator-Lubricator) units.
