The role involves teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that develop students' confidence in numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving. You will support pupils in preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress and attainment across mixed-ability classes. As a full-time member of the department, you will take responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement. Working closely with colleagues, you will help ensure continuity of learning and contribute to the ongoing success of the Maths department.
