You will be responsible for performing RF link budget analysis, coverage and propagation modeling, antenna selection, and interference mitigation to ensure reliable communications in demanding operational environments. You will configure and secure IP-based network infrastructures that interface with RF systems, including routing, switching, VPNs, and network services aligned with DoD standards. Using tools such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators, you will plan and execute lab and field tests, validate performance against requirements, and recommend improvements based on data-driven results.
Working in a cleared defense environment, you will help ensure that RF networks and related systems adhere to applicable cybersecurity policies, communications standards, and configuration baselines. You will produce clear documentation such as network diagrams, design artifacts, test plans, and technical reports to communicate your work to both technical team members and government stakeholders.
