This position assists housekeepers with room preparation, handles the delivery and removal of items such as cribs and highchairs, and contributes to the overall guest experience by keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming. The Houseperson is expected to respond to guest requests professionally, uphold safety standards, and represent Westgate Resorts with a high level of integrity and service. As a Houseperson, you will: Assist housekeepers with stripping units of soiled linen and trashSupport cleaning of guest units, including pet cleans and deep cleansClean walkways, stairways, corridors, elevators, guest laundry rooms, and front entrancesDeliver linen bags/buckets to checkout unit doors and pick up soiled linens for processingRotate laundry bins and maintain the cleanliness of laundry chute closetsRemove and place cribs, highchairs, and other equipment in designated pickup areasCollect and dispose of trash from guest units, public areas, and outdoor enclosuresMaintain housekeeping, storage, and linen closets neat, clean, and stockedDeliver and organize linens in building closetsEnsure empty buckets and supplies are placed in designated areasUse all equipment and supplies properly and safelySecure and return all issued keys and maintain orderly carts and equipmentReport damaged items, lost & found, and safety concerns promptlyRespond to guest and owner requests professionally and promptlyAssist with training new team members and support other departments as neededRepresent Westgate Resorts with professionalism and promote company valuesPerform other duties as assignedTo excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic.
