Nurse Practitioner Opening! Pittsfield, MA. Berkshire Family Practice Associates, PC

Progressive Primary Care Practice seeking Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine Certified Nurse Practitioner. Broad range of Primary Care services offered at our practice. Very Collaborative relationship between Physicians and NP. Some flexibility to tailor your practice to your individual interest. Will consider new graduate. The full-time schedule includes 4 onsite workdays and shared on-call.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, obtaining patient histories, and performing physical examinations.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostical tests such as laboratory tests, EKGs, imaging procedures, and other necessary tests.
  • Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the attending physician.
  • Prescribing and administering medications, including intravenous therapies and blood products, as appropriate, and monitoring patient response to therapy.
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate and complete medical records, including progress notes, patient data, and treatment plans as per policy.
