Iowa Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.C., is a well-established and highly respected group practice that has served the Des Moines metro area, Ames, and central Iowa for 40 years. IOMS offers an outstanding opportunity for a well-trained, hard-working, personable, BC/BE, single or dual-degree surgeon to join our busy eight-doctor practice as an associate with a well-defined partnership track.

We operate out of six state-of-the-art facilities with the latest technology (Carestream) and excellent support staff, including patient care assisted exclusively by registered nurses and DAANCE-certified dental assistants. IOMS has a broad and dedicated referral base with the potential for growth with a new surgeon. IOMS focuses primarily on office-based procedures, emphasizing dental implant and augmentation procedures, dentoalveolar surgery, I.V. anesthesia, pathology, and some limited trauma and orthognathics. A new associate could expand their scope of practice as desired. Compensation is excellent, competitive, and includes an incentive program and a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
