Oral Surgeon Opportunity – Central Pennsylvania Area

This opportunity is for a motivated and compassionate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon looking to join a well-established and growing practice. We have been caring for the central Pennsylvania community for 3 decades alongside our large referral network. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients across all our four locations in Camp Hill, Harrisburg, Carlisle and Lancaster, PA.

Highlights:

  • Full-time office-based schedule Monday through Friday with benefits
  • No hospital calls. Only, office after-hours on call q 4 weeks.
  • Credentialed at 3 local level 1 hospitals, for any elective hospital cases.
  • Updated facilities with the latest surgical technology
  • Supportive and collaborative administrative and clinical teams
  • On-staff Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists who perform GA/IV sedation.
  • Credentialing for licensure, insurances and malpractice coverage maintained
  • Consistent referral base from General & Pediatric Dentists, Orthodontists, Prosthodontists and Endodontists.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures: dental extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and management of pathology.
  • Collaborate with referring doctors to ensure optimal patient care
  • Administer anesthesia including local anesthesia and IV sedation in accordance with state regulations and patient needs
  • Educate patients on post-operative care, risks, and expected outcomes of procedures
  • Participate in continuing education and staying current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery
  • Contribute to the practice’s reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care

Requirements

  • DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
  • Completed residency in oral & maxillofacial surgery
  • Board-certified or board-eligible
  • Active Pennsylvania State Dental License or eligible to obtain
  • Active DEA License
