Job Summary and Responsibilities

Mercy Medical Group , a multi-specialty group with more than 550 healthcare providers in the Sacramento region, is seeking a BE/BC Total Joints or Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon. The ideal candidate will have broad training, experience, and expertise in all aspects of Orthopedic surgery.

This position is based at our multi-specialty clinic on Wymark Rd. in Elk Grove, CA. Excellent built-in referral system, outpatient surgery center on site, and proximity to Methodist Hospital for larger cases. Shared call arrangement (no trauma).

Job Requirements
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • BE/BC in Orthopedic Surgery (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program in the US or Canada. We are unable to sponsor J1 or H1B visas.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
  • Dedication to providing high-quality patient care

MMG is a large multi-specialty medical group of 500+ providers comprised of primary care physicians, specialists in more than 30 medical and surgical specialties, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. These professionals provide seamless primary and specialty care, working together to meet the unique needs of each individual patient.

MMG clinicians provide services to patients at Dignity Health Medical Foundation locations throughout Sacramento.
