Genesis Health Group is seeking a full-time board certified/eligible Pathologist trained in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.

Position Details:

  • The candidate would join a collegial group of 6 general, hospital-based Pathologists and 2 Pathology Assistants who oversee two community hospitals and several critical access hospitals.
  • The caseload is a mixture of biopsies, complex resections and non-GYN cytology. No GYN cytology is performed.
  • Frozen section coverage and attendance of fine needle aspirations for adequacy assessment is required.
  • Autopsies are rarely performed.
  • No specific subspecialty training is required, however cytopathology or GI training would be looked upon favorably.

  • The ideal candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills and value good relationships with our clinical colleagues.
  • A willingness to participate in clinical lab management and multidisciplinary tumor boards is a must.
