UNC Primary Care at Garner is seeking an experienced Primary Care Physician to join our primary care team at this brand new, state-of-the-art facility. This is an exceptional opportunity to help shape a new practice, deliver high quality, patient centered care, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals and families we serve.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine

  • Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

  • Strong interest in caring for medically complex adult patients

  • Demonstrated experience and interest in addressing mental health needs within a primary care setting

Clinical Services Provided

  • Comprehensive preventive healthcare

  • Annual physicals and wellness visits

  • Immunizations

  • Management of acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma

High-level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnosis medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine.
