Full-time Primary Care Physician role at the Department of Veterans Affairs (Providence VA Healthcare System) based in the Middletown, RI outpatient clinic, providing comprehensive primary care for Veterans. You’ll work weekday days in a PACT multidisciplinary team with strong system support and no call/weekends. : Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic conditions, conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop patient management plans.
Multi-Disciplinary Teamwork
: Collaborate within a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) including an RN care manager, LPN, clinical pharmacist, psychologists, and social workers to deliver coordinated, wrap-around care.
Education & Mentorship:
Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and other learners, fostering the next generation of clinicians.
Integrated Support Services:
Work in a system that provides seamless access to social work, travel assistance, housing, and pharmacy services-without the hassles of pre-authorizations or multiple formularies.
