Process Technicians Needed - LaPorte, IN

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in critical industry components, is seeking a Processing Technician I to join their team. As a Processing Technician I, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting mold processing and quality assurance.

Job Title: Processing Technician I

Location

Laporte, IN

Pay: $26.78

Shift: Multiple shifts available: 6am-3pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am

What's the Job?

  • Maintain a steady flow of molds through the plant to produce high-quality castings.
  • Perform mold dewaxing, including loading molds into vacuum chambers and steam dewaxing.
  • Cut and prepare alloy materials for casting processes, ensuring proper weights and safety standards.
  • Assist with mold wrapping, including mixing mud and following detailed instructions.
  • Operate equipment such as hand tools, alloy saws, forklifts, and preheat ovens safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and bending.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to operate measuring devices and computer systems.
  • Valid forklift license preferred or ability to obtain one.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
