Job Description Pay: 19/hr + 1.25/hr Shift Differential SHIFT: 8:00 PM to 6;30 AM Primary work days are Thursday-Sunday. Schedule varies depending on workload each week. JOB SUMMARY Responsible for machine operation and crew in a light industrial setting. Must manage machine team to ensure proper and safe operation of assigned equipment. Responsible for quality, output, and meeting production goals. Additionally, fulfills the job duties of a Production Technician 1 and 2 as required. KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Production: Monitors performance of machine and personnel. Ensures that goals are being met and issues are communicated to Supervisor and/or Production Technician 3 Lead. Completes all work assignments during production. Checking in material, Pocket set-ups, move material offline that is no longer needed, and other assignments as necessary. Applies advanced troubleshooting skills and performs basic maintenance on assigned machines that improve quality and performance. Assists crew members when needed. 40% Crew Leadership/Training: Organizes crew activities and delegates assignments. Performs assigned duties. Trains and develops all crew members. 30% Quality and Waste: Monitors product quality for correctness and report when errors occur. Monitors print and bundle quality. Make adjustments as necessary to correct quality issues. Monitors product waste and take steps to reduce or eliminate spoilage and doubles. 15% Communication/Record Keeping: Maintains accurate record keeping IE: safety audits, packages per hour, labor hours per thousand and other logs or forms. Communicates personnel issues to the Supervisor or Production Technician 3 Lead. Informs other Operators/Supervisors of pertinent. information and communicates to other shifts as necessary. EXPERIENCE 3-5 Years related experience Basic computer experience

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Ability to multi-task. Demonstrates ability to line lead or crew lead for one (1) machine. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (varying upon equipment). Attention to detail. Effective communicator (share equipment knowledge, quality, and safety concerns). Ability to troubleshoot machine problems. Mathematical skills and advanced skills in production reports. Basic computer skills, technical skills may vary based on the equipment. Ability and knowledge to operate a pallet jack. Strong knowledge and understanding of machine and manufacturing operations. Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language (preferred)

Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
