Overview
Strategic Technology Institute (STi) is seeking a Program Manager to support Headquarters Department of the Air Force (DAF/A10) Strategic Plans and Policy Support Services (SPPSS). This position supports strategic deterrence and nuclear integration initiatives across the Department of the Air Force.
The Program Manager will oversee contract execution, coordinate with senior DAF and Department of War leadership, manage contractor personnel, and ensure successful delivery of technical, analytical, operational, and programmatic support services.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage complex DoD programs of similar size and scope
- Serve as primary interface with Government leadership and CORs
- Oversee staffing, task execution, quality control, and deliverables
- Coordinate support across strategic deterrence, CWMD, NC3, arms control, and IAMD mission areas
- Provide executive-level briefings and status reports
- Manage risk, staffing continuity, surge support, and contract performance metrics
- Support strategic planning and operational coordination efforts
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing large, complex federal programs
- Experience supporting senior DAF/DoW leadership
- Strong understanding of Air Force or Joint Staff environments
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in classified environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior HQ USAF, Joint Staff, OSD, STRATCOM, or AFGSC experience
- PMP certification
- Experience supporting nuclear enterprise or strategic deterrence missions
