We’re looking for a QA Technologist to join us at KP Snacks. If you’re ready to bring your ideas to the table, grow your skills and be part of a team that values what makes you, you – this could be your next big move.

About the role

The QA Technologist will play a key part in protecting food safety and product quality. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll support day‑to‑day quality activities, help us meet the highest industry standards and use our IWS tools to drive continuous improvement.

This is a hands‑on role, ideal for a graduate with a Food Science or related degree, or someone early in their Food Science career, who is keen to build a career in Technical. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the site, spending time in our manufacturing areas to understand our processes and help raise quality standards. You’ll also partner with suppliers, support customer‑focused improvements and contribute to our audit and compliance activities.

What will you be doing?

  • Driving food safety and quality standards
    Coaching colleagues on the shop floor and challenging standards to meet the KP Quality Management System

  • Leading and supporting sensory activities
    Running panels, analysing trends, managing quality attribute documents and using insights to influence improvement

  • Managing quality documentation and procedures
    Owning or supporting JQPs, Production packs and technical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance

  • Supporting audits, risk management and improvement plans
    Playing an active role in internal audits, allergen management, acrylamide monitoring and complaint reduction

  • Supporting site teams to improve quality standards
    Sharing knowledge, building capability and helping colleagues prevent and eliminate quality risks
