Location
Iola, WI FacilitySummary: Audits finished products and supplied piece parts for conformance to documented specifications. Checks orders, performs special testing and provides special customer required documentation. Assists customer source inspectors and suppliers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Inspects product at audit and/or incoming to validate parts/lots meet the engineering requirements using the vision system for piece part inspection.
- Prepare and review a query for information that contributes to inspection requirements.
- Enter the record of inspection completed into the audit electronic database (QAS).
- Verifies all Purchasing Orders for special documentation requirements.
- Audits, approves and forwards incoming parts to Stockroom.
- Notify Quality Control Administrator of ICAs initiated through MRB for defective purchased parts.
- Test Purchasing Orders in the AQ Lab if necessary.
- Select sample purchased parts from Stockroom and inspect as necessary.
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
