SUMMARY

Reporting to the Quality Manager and Lead Inspector, this role will support Quality efforts by adhering to the guidelines of an ISO13485 and ISO9001 Quality Management System. This role will be vital in assuring that the final product is acceptable before packaging.

Responsibilities


  • Perform visual and physical inspection of products.
  • Perform measurements properly using gages, go/no go pins, digital calipers, tensile tester, Vision Gauge, and other equipment.
  • Give feedback to production employees regarding product discrepancies in real-time, to minimize rejections.
  • Report out-of-tolerance products to the Quality Manager.
  • Perform AQL measurements on production parts.
  • Assist in compiling quality data for Qualification Protocols.
  • Work in a White Room environment.
  • Assist the Quality Manager and Inspection Lead in quality-related functions.
  • Properly care for measuring and testing equipment and determine the acceptability of products using company guidelines.
  • Document all findings and report any non-conformances.
  • Working knowledge of measurement methods (will train).
  • Complete paperwork such as data sheets using GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Packaging product per customer specifications or Argos established protocol.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience


  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • At least 1 to 3 years' experience performing QA functions, or ability to show aptitude to learn the role.
  • Packaging and inspecting skills play an important role in this position.
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal directions in English for safety precautions.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to follow written and verbal directions as well as diagram form instructions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. May sit or stand for long periods of time.

3rd Shift

Sunday - Thursday (12:00 PM - 8:30 AM)

  • 1st Shift starts Sunday at Midnight (Monday morning)
  • Last shift ends Friday morning at 8:30 AM
