Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance department supporting production and inspection processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to quality standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location

Turtle Lake, WI

Pay Range: $16 - $19.20/hr

Shift: 1st (7a-3:30p, Mon-Fri), AM (7a-7p, 2-2-3 schedule) or PM (7p-7a, 2-2-3 schedule)

What's the Job?

  • Set up test equipment according to documented procedures, managing instrument test parameters.
  • Test parts following detailed instructions, including break tests and tensile tests, and export data into a database.
  • Perform dimensional, functional, performance, and visual inspections during the Production Part Approval Process.
  • Follow company and plant procedures, rules, and policies diligently.
  • Maintain organized records, logs, and samples, ensuring accuracy and traceability.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent; a 2-year Technical Degree in Quality or related field is preferred.
  • Experience with force gages, test fixtures, and inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models effectively.
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office or Google Suite.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform standing, lifting, twisting, and occasional sitting tasks.
