THE OPPORTUNITY Silvus is seeking a Quality Engineering Technician who will report to the Quality Engineer Supervisor on the Operations - Quality Control team. The successful individual in this role will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining proper documentation and reporting of incoming electronic and mechanical parts. This role collaborates closely with our Engineers and Suppliers to suggest changes, improvements, and communicate customer requirements. This position is 100% onsite, Monday through Friday, at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform acceptance testing on first article PCBs, assemblies, and components in a Linux-based environment. Prepare assemblies according to established acceptance testing procedures. Perform rigorous stress testing on fully built assemblies to validate components. Identify the serviceability of parts and components and appropriate tooling. Prepare in-process inspection report ensuring completeness and accuracy. Work closely with engineering and operations leadership to develop and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control documentation. Collaborate with the engineering and quality teams to identify, investigate, and document any inconsistent or abnormal test results. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in electronics assembly, inspection, or repair; OR an Associate’s degree in Electronics, with 1-2 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field. Experience with utilizing inspection tools (i.e., Proficient with PC and familiar with MS Office. Citizen, or U.Permanent Resident) due to clients under U.Soldering experience. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Indoor air-conditioned facility. Walking/Moving in the labs.
