to lead and grow a high-performing sales organization across Southern and Central California. This role oversees more than 20 Rental Sales Representatives across 9 locations, from Fresno to Indio. The Regional Sales Manager will set the strategic direction for the territory, elevate sales performance, and drive profitability while delivering an unmatched customer experience. Build and implement impactful sales strategies to expand market share, accelerate growth, and enhance customer satisfaction. Coach, mentor, and motivate a team of 20+ rental sales representatives through performance management, ride-alongs, and structured development programs. Drive Performance: Monitor key sales metrics, champion CRM adoption, enforce accountability, and cultivate a results-driven culture. Partner closely with marketing, operations, and other divisions to maximize opportunities and deliver cohesive customer value. Market Expertise: Use industry data and analytics to identify trends, guide rental fleet planning, and ensure competitive positioning. Bachelor’s degree required. ~10+ years of experience in the heavy equipment rental industry. ~ Demonstrated success leading high-performing sales teams. ~ Strong knowledge of construction equipment and rental market dynamics. ~ Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel (up to 25%).
