The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Regional Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Leads sales to grow sales for C&I business in the assigned territory. Implements sales plans, promotions, and directives as set by division management. Determines sales plan for specified territory. Bachelor's Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university Five (5) years or more of experience in Direct Sales and/or Electrical Construction / Industrial experience in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Sales experience in the Electrical Construction and Electrical Industrial Markets Aptitude to understand and train customers on multiple product lines and applications Field/Channel sales experience Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to all levels Ability to qualify and prioritize sales opportunities within their assigned territory Experience working in a matrix environment or large complex organization Strong negotiation and relationship building skills Secondary language skills preferred Strong computer skills, Database management: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Salesforce.com Location: Dallas, TX Sales Territory: North Texas Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel within the territory is anticipated Relocation: May be authorized Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status) Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially.
