How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • Provides charge nurse leadership, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient assignments, and serving as a clinical resource on the unit.
  • Lead the specialized recovery of patients following Cardiac, IR, and EP procedures, ensuring every intervention meets rigorous safety standards and clinical protocols.
  • Monitor and evaluate post-procedural recovery in real-time, communicating vital clinical shifts to the care team to ensure immediate response and personalized care adjustments.
  • Coordinate as the central advocate between specialized disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-navigated care journey for both inpatient and outpatient populations.
  • Manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date reqired. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
