Registered Nurse role on the 31-bed Mother & Baby Unit at University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center, providing postpartum care, patient education, and lactation support for families after birth. You’ll join a high-volume Labor & Delivery service (2,200–2,300 deliveries/year) with a strong nurse-focused culture. Unit Description: The Mother & Baby Unit (M&B) at UVMMC is a 31-bed unit providing post-partum care, education, and lactation consultation for families after birth. Labor & Delivery at UVMMC averages 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year. Registered Nurse Lactation Consultants seek out their IBCLC certification.
On-call: Not required.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
- ADN required, BSN preferred.
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
