THIS HYBRID ROLE IS BASED AT OUR BALTIMORE HEADQUARTERS, WITH ON-SITE COLLABORATION TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY AND REMOTE FLEXIBILITY ON BOTH MONDAYS AND FRIDAYS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deliver an outstanding customer experience by handling inbound calls and emails with professionalism and care * Prioritize tasks effectively to manage time and respond promptly to urgent inquiries * Provide friendly, knowledgeable support to subscribers and potential subscribers, ensuring every interaction reflects MarketWise’s commitment to excellence * Maintain a strong understanding of our products, campaigns, and promotions to engage confidently in conversations and identify opportunities to add value * Resolve customer issues by clarifying concerns, determining root causes, and offering the best solutions quickly and accurately * Proactively recognize opportunities to strengthen relationships—whether through retention efforts or introducing services that align with customer needs (prior sales experience not required) * Consistently meet department standards for service levels, quality, retention, and performance goals * Collaborate with team members to share insights and contribute to a positive, high-performing environment

QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent customer service experience accepted * Genuine interest in finance and investing is a plus * Self-motivated with a positive, team-oriented attitude * Strong time management and interpersonal skills; able to remain professional under pressure * Consistently punctual and reliable to support team coverage needs * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to speak clearly and actively listen * Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and emails while managing multiple priorities * Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and deliver quality service in challenging situations * Skilled at building rapport with customers and colleagues * Ability to learn and retain product knowledge through training and communicate options effectively * Comfortable working with standard office technology for extended periods * Visual and auditory ability for computer and phone tasks * Fluency in English (written and spoken)
