Post partum RN in our mother/baby unit at Via Christi St. Joseph. Job Requirements

Must have current nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days prior to start. Must have BLS certification (AHA). Must have Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (AHA/American Academy of Pediatrics). Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score. Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start, updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score. Completion of Ascension EKG Exam with passing score of at least 80%, updated every 3 years. MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required. Documentation of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG Titer; no declinations accepted. Fit Test required, preferred prior to start, updated annually. Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination series completion or signed declination. Influenza vaccine required during flu season; exemptions accepted with mask requirement. Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire. Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually. Driver's License/State ID must be current and match address on file. 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing required prior to start, with annual TB questionnaire updates. Documentation of two Varicella vaccines or immunity; no declinations accepted. Tdap vaccine valid within 10 years; no declinations accepted. Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start; updated annually. 12 Panel Drug Screen within 30 days prior to start; updated annually. Verification of education relevant to clinical work within 90 days of start. Third-party employment verification for past seven years, updated annually. Schedule Information
