Key Responsibilities
MIG and TIG welding to a high standard on aluminium, stainless steel, and other materials. Fabrication and assembly of metal components from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and fitting materials to precise tolerances. Operating fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively. Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet customer and company standards. Working on bespoke and batch production projects across a variety of industries. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to efficient production processes.
Requirements
Previous experience in a Welder Fabricator role within a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Strong MIG and TIG welding skills, ideally with experience working on aluminium and alloy products. Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings and technical plans. Experience using fabrication machinery and a range of workshop tools. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to meet production deadlines. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.
