We're looking for a detail oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our accounting team. In this role, you will help ensure inbound payments are accurately matched, recorded, and reconciled within our systems. Your work will directly support the speed, accuracy, and reliability of our financial operations and help keep cash flowing for the trucking companies we serve. Daily matching of inbound payments to outstanding invoices
Investigating and resolving short pays, overpayments, unapplied cash, and misapplied payments
Communicating payment issues and exceptions to internal teams and, when appropriate, to customers
Partnering with collections and operations teams to clean up unapplied cash and improve match rates over time
Supporting senior accounting team members with additional projects and initiatives as needed
Comfortable working with numbers and high volume transactional data
Prior accounting, banking, finance, or payment operations experience preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
