Job Overview: Cell Equipment Team oversees the status of process equipment and related facility. Technicians are responsible for the repair and maintenance of production equipment. This role reports to their shift supervisor and adheres to the assembly and disassembly of tools.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of equipment used for production
Maintains parts and hardware inventory
Perform scheduled, preventative and breakdown maintenance
Monitors contamination count on production equipment
Coordinate with production team on removing scrapped or stranded wafers
Stays up to date with all certifications
Performs part rebuilds for recycling purposes
Create preventative maintenance kits to minimize tool downtime
Be able to follow technical instructions, and provide suggestions on needed changes
Identify the required tools and parts for maintenance or assigned work
Full participation in all of company’s safety protocols
Must always wear proper PPE for certain maintenance work
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
Entry-level technician position
Technical training in skilled trades including mechanical, construction, electrical, plumbing, or related trades
Ability to multi-task and work independently
Be able to lift and/or move equipment parts up to 50lbs
Be able to work on equipment that requires ladders
Job requires safety goggles and steel-toe shoes to be always worn in production line (fab)
