SUMMARY: Paints parts and mixes paints for the parts on the line; maintains equipment as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Looks at paperwork for paint exposures to properly paint the product.

Prepares the parts to be painted.

Paints parts as they move down the assembly line.

Loads and unloads parts on the line.

Cleans out paint pots.

Cleans the booths and lines.

Performs maintenance and rebuilds paint equipment as needed

Performs other duties as needed or assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED): and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Body shop and painting experience is helpful. Knowledge of using spray paints and experience in mixing paints helpful. Ability to analyze and problem-solve required.
