Painter role at Mestek, Inc in Westfield, MA, focused on preparing and spray-painting parts on an assembly line, mixing paints, and keeping paint booths/lines clean. You'll also help maintain and rebuild paint equipment as needed, supporting smooth production flow.

SUMMARY: Paints parts and mixes paints for the parts on the line; maintains equipment as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looks at paperwork for paint exposures to properly paint the product.
Prepares the parts to be painted.
Paints parts as they move down the assembly line.
Loads and unloads parts on the line.
Cleans out paint pots.
Cleans the booths and lines.
Performs maintenance and rebuilds paint equipment as needed
Performs other duties as needed or assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED): and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Body shop and painting experience is helpful. Knowledge of using spray paints and experience in mixing paints helpful. Ability to analyze and problem-solve required.
