JOB DUTIES:

  • Operate up to two CNC machinery simultaneously to fabricate PTFE parts.
  • Perform own job set up.
  • Minor editing of programs
  • Read and understand blueprints.
  • Use measuring equipment such as scales, micrometers, PI tapes, optical comparators, and calipers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of quality and performance for Machinist.

Quality: Defined as having not more than 4 active performance guideline write-ups of any type (i.e. note-to-file, written warning).
  1. Performance: Will not have output that is more than 10% below the average attainment of all the operators of the same assigned area
  • Other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:

  • Perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery.
  • 2nd Operation machining.
  • Counting and kitting of components for shipment.
  • Operate manual lathe and drill press as required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Qualify in one of the following:
    • 5 years of experience in machining and a certification in one of the following: Machining, CNC machining, Machine Technology or completion of a relevant program
    • OR
    • 7 years of experience in machining.
