The Role
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial agreements and ancillary documents.
Provide strategic legal advice across various commercial functions, advising stakeholders in our sales, account management and enablement teams, as well as to the wider business.
Proactively problem solve for emerging legal and operational risks, providing risk-based decisions on complex legal issues and proposing improvements and efficiencies to mitigate future exposure.
Advise on early-stage customer and vendor disputes, managing initial phases of legal conflicts and providing counsel on complex legal interpretations.
Drive legal automation efforts to help scale our team and bring greater efficiency to the contracting process, maintaining contract databases and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
Work autonomously in a cross-functional manner, building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
Participate in training commercial colleagues.
Skills & Experience for Success
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in contract review, as a paralegal, or legal operations
Degree in law, paralegal studies or a related field.
Experience working with and reviewing commercial contracts in a B2B SaaS environment.
Strong commercial contracting experience, with the ability to draft clear, concise, and legally robust agreements, correspondence, and other documentation.
Excellent negotiation and project management skills, with experience handling complex, multi-jurisdictional commercial arrangements.
Confident working with a large degree of autonomy, with the ability to structure and prioritize work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and to build and drive processes to completion.
Curious, ownership-oriented approach to learning and professional growth, with an appetite to ask questions and take initiative.
Experience in the RegTech space in a plus.

The base salary range for this role is $120,000 -150,000 + equity, and US benefits. The actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
