Sheridan is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and a rotating on-call schedule. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Rotating on-call weekends (minimum 2 hours paid if called in)
Pay:
$23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience + additional $1.00/hour shift differential

What You’ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
  • Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
  • Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
  • Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.

What We’re Looking For:

We are open to candidates from a variety of industrial maintenance environments, including manufacturing outside of print. Requirements include:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
  • Electrical knowledge, including but not limited to single phase 120v, three phase 480v and 24 VDC power systems.
